Did not find any signature. Any suggestions on the bridge?
    Thanks

Does that white in the foreground look like ice/crusty snow to you?

I did not think of ice but now when you mentioned, it could be.

Well, I just spent a lot of the time since my earlier post scanning maps of the Mid-Atlantic coast, looking for a place where a significantly wide area of water (bay or river) would have a bridge crossing close to a lighthouse. I know it's not New England. Not the Chesapeake Bay Bridge/Tunnel. And as you get further south there's way less likelihood of ice. I think I'm out of ideas.

Why do you think it's there Bakers...or even in the US?

Well, because I'm eastern myself, of course! And the topography of that part of the coast lends itself nicely to this kind of scene. Low-lying, sand based soils with few to no trees. NE is rockier (except for Cape Cod) right down to the water and the places where the rivers empty are much more built up.

I cannot see any of our lighthouses being that brown though, even in shadow. Capt May is kinda beige but no bridge there.

I agree with you there. Brighter colors and many have distinctive stripes as a daylight identifier to mariners.

Yes, but only since 2005. ;) Born and raised on Long Island, lived 32 years in eastern MA. My parents retired in the early 90's to eastern NC (so I even thought about there in my consideration.)

Bakersgma, I am not so sure that that is a lighthouse. It "almost" looks like a tall, dead tree.

Do folks "up north" not paint their lighthouses or put a "pattern" (maybe even in "colored bricks" of some sort) on them? Just wondering. ;)

Given the size of the buildings at water's edge over in the distance, I just don't see how that could even further back and still be a tree - dead or alive. ;)

    Hello?
There are two similar lighthouses at Cape Ann.....

But there's no bridge like this there, much less open sandy spaces near the water. Cape Ann is one HUGE rock.
