Collector forever

    As a young kid, my Father introduce me involuntary to Antique,I was raise in a Bank Building in Quebec City"The Royale bank Of Canada",previously, The Quebec bank.
    At the age of 6, the family move to a sub division outside town, because my Father has working for the Bank for 30 Years and the Bank will close shortly, the general manager of the Bank at that time John Theodore Ross, mention to my Father, "you being working here for so long, when you leave take whatever you would like, and as a souvenir I gave you this little Steel Bank(annexed picture), my Father at that time doing also television repair and Electronic, when the time come to move, he take many Cabinet, Chair, Trunk, Step ladder, Table, you name it.......
    When i grown up i discover all those treasure my Father has take with permission from the bank, this introduce me to the world of Antique.
    After that at the age of 20 I become a Picker in Quebec region for 17 years, for sure banking memorabilia are my main passion, but a collected also Artwork for 10 years, and last years i discover a new passion"Bohemian Art Glass" pbs0Yrn5zVQfel4pQ7GX3Q-smallh (1).jpg
    The Quebec Bank, founded in 1818, Absorbed by The Royal Bank Of Canada in 1917
    This little Advertising Steel bank Was Manufactured by Walter Francis Burns, New-York and Chicago, Patented 1 January 1901"The W.F.Burns Company"
    Today, I thanks my father(R.I.P) to oriented me toward antique, to help preserve our Heritage

    Welcome. My great-grandparents were from outside of Quebec - Etienne & Emma Lafond. I haven't been up there since I was a child. One of these days I will make it back to visit.

    Ah, you notice it, humm hard to miss, this is one of my fav glass acquire over the pass year, a nice Kralik Iridescent Pampas decor Pinched vase, early 1900, one of many Glass house from the late 19s early 20s.
    Many thanks for the welcome, i am overwhelmed with all those welcome for sure.
    I add a picture for you to show it's real Beauty, really a stunning Kralik example, enjoy, eyes candy it is......... DSCN1836.jpg , thank you all.

    Well, both are ancestor has coming from the same Boat from France in early 17s
    Etienne Lafond was on it, with Mathurin gaignon and Pierre(my Ancestor)
    He get marry the same year has Mathurin in 1640
    I think we gone have fun here Sir, I have all the archive from my familly
