    Yes, I've seen them, but never one this color or with the translucence.
    Mine is some sort of resin or plastic, D.

    That looks to me like a rather poorly done cast resin (why is her arm wrinkled?), they didn't even grind off the bottom - possibly unsuccessfully intended to look like a Dorothy Tharpe piece...

    Yah it looks like a late-1980s experimental art piece.
    I don't think it's anything worth much, jmho.

    Thanks, Cheryl, the Tharp one stands 25" tall and looks nothing like the OP's, so I don't think it's the same brand. The bases don't look similar to me either.
