I've been trying to ID this Blue Ridge pattern on this Colonial shaped saucer for a few weeks now. I have the Ruffin's Blue Ridge book, 2 websites in my favorites for Blue ridge identification, and belong to 2 Blue Ridge groups on FB. No one seems to know the pattern. Thought I would check here to see if any of the knowledgeable potties just by chance happen to recognize the pattern. I can't figure out if these are leaves or some kind of fruit. If fruit, are they plums? I'm pretty sure it is Blue Ridge's Plum pattern. BRUnkonwnSaucer.JPG

The only thing I can suggest is that the saucer is different from the rest of whatever pattern this is. Since the cup would hide most of the pattern perhaps Blue Ridge decided to use a simpler decal on the saucer than they did on say a plate? I thought at first maybe red bud but I can't explain the purple.

Thanks for looking Don. I'm sure the dinner plate and other pieces probably have more of the pattern. This is worse than looking for a needle in a haystack.

Hi Judy!! Thank you for checking your books. This one is a difficult one

The fluting makes them look oddly-shaped in the photo but I think they have to be plums.

That is what I think also. BR has a plum pattern but this one isn't part of it :(

I can only find a dinner plate in the Fuchsia pattern. It is on the Colonial shape.
Hard to say if that is the right pattern or not. Going to check google now. Wish me luck

@*crs* not sure if you saw this site but maybe it will have your pattern:) I like how you just move your mouse over the name to view a photo of the pattern. I had a quick look at the first row of patterns but didn't see it

    also from the same site
It is important to remember when attempting to identify a pattern that smaller pieces, e.g., cups, saucers, and small plates, were decorated with only a portion of the main pattern.

Yes, thank you. That is one of the sites I have in my favorites that I mentioned. Here is the other one. I've been trying to find anything with this color combination leaves? or fruit?https://www.williamsonfarmflowers.com/blue_ridge_pottery/b_p_a.htm

Have you tried sending a picture to Replacements.com? They may be able to track it down.

I haven't tried that Don but they do have a feature now where you can search their site by uploading a picture. That didn't get me a return of my pattern.
