    just curious about how to describe it, rhinestones and ?

    Molded carnival glass victorian revival? It's too late for the yellow dragon's breath and the stones look coated in any case. The side stones have the aurora borealis coating, so it was made in 1954 or later. The design wants to look a lot older.

    It's quite unusual and attractive. I agree with Scoutshouse it would be perfect as a barrette, what a good idea!.

    It looks like quite high quality costume jewellery to me. I'm not much for yellow, but like this. And yes, that bar & bow shape would be great in the hair at a New Year's Eve party.
