Old Metal WEIRD Wine Rack Cabinet – don’t work for modern bottles.
Here is the welded metal heavy Wine Rack with “gate”/door; 40”H x 16”W x 14” D. I was so happy when I bought it, because it is so cool, but what was a surprise, when I recognized that it is impossible use it for modern bottles. If to put bottles with neck first – the neck goes thru the back wall, bottle just slides ahead; if to put bottles with neck at the front – “gate” can’t be closed, because neck of bottle will be outside. Is it for some old French wine bottles? Or is it something else? I like it a lot and wanted to keep just for décor, but don’t have place in the house. Now I am ready to sale it, but don’t know “what I am going to sale”. Ha..ha..ha… Thank you!

    Hmmm...... Got me.
Maybe a screen is missing if it's for bottles....

I don't think its terribly old . Maybe it wasn't for wine bottles per se , aren't there other things like champagne and stuff that are shorter ?

Oh, maybe champagne, though champagne is bigger bottles; maybe for French Stoneware Wine Sider Bottles - they are only 11 1/4" H x 3 1/4" D; or maybe for Madeira... If I will be able to find what will fit there, I will be able to find how old it is. :)

DSC01042.JPG DSC01046.JPG Help us out here. CLick on Full Image and your pictures will appear in the post instead of us clicking on a bunch of tiny links. It would be the polite thing to do.

This isn't too high end and so I'm suspicious that it's something pretty cheaply made because that is some crappy welding there.

I decided keep it home and use it as a "Towels Rack" in the guest bathroom. Just will twist towels in rolls and Voila! Will send a picture next time.

I wasn't being snarky. A lot of times new folks don't know they can include the Full Image so I let them know. It's just easier to see the photos large.

You try to help as I do Bev and this also shortens the time necessary to try to help.

You will begin to note people popping in here and disappearing after getting, often valuable, info/answers. They seem to come here to just to suck up other's time, knowledge, expertise and just the members desire to help others.
The faster we can see and understand what it is posters want, the better for us all, you included as you continue along in the 'family'. :)

@KingofThings About "Gallery" pictures: It is was exactly what I was going to ask about. I found that nobody from members take attention at the pictures there and don't answer at the questions about information thru the "Gallery". Why here is "Gallery" if nobody use it? I meant new members try ask help thru "Gallery" (for me it looks the easier way), but everybody said, that for information there should be crated Thread.

    I do not know.
I have a flag for 52 right now.
It was months before I even bothered to see what it was.
Perhaps a mod will answer this for us..........

I was looking over 20 pages with pictures there. People just send picture and ask question. Again like for me it is the cool place ask question for help and if I am right: the Thread is a cool place for conversation & communication and about the Item people look for information about and just for fun. :shy:
