    Hi there, it is a genuine silk rug with gold threads named Hereke from Turkey, should have 900'000 to 1 Mio. knots/m2, made in the 1980's. The signature means 'Hereke'. The other Arabic writings are poems from either famous Persian poets or from the Koran. This prayer carpet design and poems are actually a copy from ancient Savavid rugs and also the famous Istanbuli Armenian Kumkapi rugs from the early 1900's did it similar, but became one of the various typical designs for silk Hereke after the 1950's/60's.
