    Hello and welcome.
Looks like 1930s-40s chest of drawers. maybe Mahogany
Value of nice wood furniture is down right now.
If you are thinking of selling, it will depend on where you are and how you intend to sell.

Be sure to check back and see what others have to say. People come and go at all hours.

I'm thinking closer to the turn of the 20th century. Nice piece!

Hmmm, hard to say, where are you located?
Hepplewhite pulls with empire Doric columns and what appears to be chippendale bracket feet.
I'll guess 1890-1900, english, with beaded drawer fronts, hepplewhite revival style, with a dab of empire/chippendale tossed in.

Hi, well, they could very well be Australian, that's almost english or english influenced. They do have a late victorian preference of combining several styles into 1 piece.
There was a Hepplewhite revival going on in England in the late 19th century, based on a book his wife published after his death which included many of his designs.
Slight revision to my guess, 1890-1900 Aust/English, Hepplewhite Revival with a dash of empire/chippendale!:)

Hmmm, value, i have no clue in Aust, here in the states, not much as there is a depression in "brown" antique furniture prices, there are exceptions but this chest of drawers isn't one of them.

Mostly true, unless you go to a cabinetmaker & get a custom build but, get out your pocketbook, it will cost you!:p

Can't really add anything more to what James has provided. Seems that every time we get Australian furniture here, it somewhat follows English designs but doesn't quite fit the mold. The mixture of styles here is interesting and the restraint of their use somehow makes it work.

Many of us don't have ideas of prices in Australia.
I would imagine there are antique stores in Australia. Best way to get ideas of value would be to visit a few and look at what dealers are asking. Be advised that you would probably not realize what a dealer is asking.
