    Agree not a chevron and they look old to me. I almost get an eye and cross vibe so you can play with eye , talisman, etc. if you’re selling them.

    They are glass and Hollyblue is right, very likely recycled glass from Ghana.

    West African powder glass beads, could be krobo beads.
    Beads are only chevron beads if the beads have chevron-shaped designs in or on them.;)
