Featured Old Pharmacy Jars

    Got these (and a lot more!) from a friend who moved to a new facility.
    The only thing I know is that they are really old. The bottom shows the mark of being cut (don't really know how to explain...) and the white jars are from Vista Alegre (a famous Portuguese brand).

    The glass ones are "mold blown" - it's the old way. They have a pontil mark on the bottom where they were broken off the rod. Definitely old.

    Old, yes, but pharmacy jars go back a long way ...I once owned a Genovese majolica jar (albarello) from the 1500's ...

    Those are some great looking jars. The fact that they have the original labels usually adds to the value. Those cobalts are very cool. Thanks for sharing!

    I don't know what should be "really old" ? the pharmacy still exists in Minde and the phone number is post-1945.
    to print these "old" labels is no problem.
