I found this in a 2nd hand store. The only thing I can think of is something to hold your mail/letters, but it's so big it would probably hold the NY Times!
I know it has some age from the old screws - any idea what this was used for?
What's with the dancing frogs/lizards? (I think they look like the frog that would turn into a prince if kissed by the princess - could this be something for kids?)
    How old it is?
    Thanks!

How big exactly for the platform & height of sides from there up?

Interesting that seller seems so confident it was made for a fish bowl. (Rectangular shape makes me think aquarium would look better.) Seller in IN, so maybe is making fun of MI.

    Intriguing. Dimensions would be helpful.

Isn't that a bit bizarre? Looks like flat sided bowl fits perfectly, but it blocks the sides where viewing is the best.

Yeah, kinda defeats the purpose of getting a few goldfish to watch.!

Fill the bowl with candy - LOL!

That is weird how the fishbowl fits perfectly. I guess you could use this for a lot of things.

I immediately thought bookstand because I've seen so many in this style, but I was willing to believe it was for a goldfish bowl. :yuck:
