    I was asked if I wanted to introduce myself, and I do.

    I am a lifelong Memphian, and love "stuff". I've thrifted and gone to yard sales, estate sales, etc. for more years than I want to tell you! My lifelong dream has been to own a "junk store". Although that probably won't happen now, I still enjoy my treasures, and other's too. I love research, and do it and sell for others. I'm certainly not making bank, but I am happy just to get my mitts on their heirlooms - if only for a while.

    I am continually learning. Thanks for having me, and thanks in advance for any help!

    Alisa... on these Forums, there are Yankees, Canadians, British, Australians, Serbians (one, at least), to name a few. I've learned all kinds of new words for "y'all". Like, the other day... I learned how to call people "chaps"!!!!!

    Haha! Sounds like I'm going to learn a lot! I have good Yankee friends (you guys), Canadians (youse?), and British friends (mates...or is that Australia?)!

    Greetings. I have to chuckle at your last remark. My daughter moved from Massachusetts to Georgia and got a job in a restaurant. The first time she asked a table, "So, what do you guys want?" her manager took her aside and explained that she couldn't say that. She had to learn to say, "What will y'all have today?" LOL.
