coffee grinder

This coffee grinder measures 6 1/2" by 6 1/2".
It was difficult trying to get a good picture of the works inside. I suppose I could remove the screws and taken off the bottom if needed.

 

I'm not convinced that's an antique.....
they made a ton of these....not always meant for use.....

 

Check out ebay listings......there are plenty there!!! Look under sold.....you'll get a more accurate pricing!! Just out of curiosity, what DO the screws look like?? They can hint at an age.....never mind....I see a flat head in the corner........

 

Looks right to be an old one to me. As said, there are a lot of these out there and not sought after like they used to be.

 

Yes, I'm sure it is old, as my grandmother and my great aunt did not collect new stuff.

If anyone would like me to take it apart for more detailed pictures, so you can see the difference between this and a newer reproduction, I'd be happy to.

 

on the continent the ones with a Peugeot mechanism pay more than the rest because the wheels seem to be hardened more.

 

Would that be marked anywhere? I don't see any markings on the outside.
