Help with determining age/type of desk

Hello,

I am trying to seek help with dating this desk. I believe it to be a 1970s revival piece. Does anyone know what type of desk it is? I have never seen quite like this one. Inside the cabinet there are two more drawers on the inside. Any ideas or comments on the piece are appreciated.

It looks like an 19th Century piece. Reminds me a a dining piece for holding silverware , napkins and tablecloths and liquor bottles.

Agree that this is late 20th century. Maybe Italian?... or a lot of this kind of over-the-top furniture is made in Egypt.

 

I agree newish,and isnt that a sideboard ?

 

Are the drawers inside regular drawers?
Are any of the drawers lined?

Descriptive if a desk "knee hole" desk.

 

Looks like a nice ormolu-mounted Ladies' Dressing Table, circa 1880 - 1890 to me. Nice Plum Pudding mahogany on the top drawers under that wavy overlay. Paris workshop, maybe? What do I know?

 

Agrees, way out of my area of interest but clearly machine made and likely victorian styled revival piece.

It's got that Boulle 1940s revival feel, could be France or Italy.

Yes, the drawers are regular drawers, there is no lining.
