    @Bronwen @shallow_ocean_spectre
    I just knew I was watching two high brows doing battle. Being an uncultivated simple mind, I'm always in awe of what is flying by me

    So glad the old book board perspicacious mind has relocated here. It was one of the reasons I used to lurk there. Always entertaining.

    Purse-capacious? Ha! I don't even carry a purse!

    I don't know if it's high brow or receding hairline. :)

    @Bronwen - Re-seeding hairline? If it were only that easy, I'd buy a bag of hair seed immediately!

    Think you have the nucleus of a late night infomercial for hair plugs there.

    @Bronwen - You don't realise how fortunate you are to live in the city. Out here in backwoods western New York, all we have are fire plugs!

    Hi shallow ocean,
    You may be in the backwoods of NY but I grew up in RURAL Pennsylvania where we had NO fire plugs. The fire department sent a truck with a water tanker in case a creek was not near. I remember being a junior fireman and seeing fish flying over houses on fire.

    Hi Shallow,
    The fish would get snagged by the hoses when the creeks were used. Some times eels would get caught up in the flow.

    That's what I was thinking. Burn your house down? At least get a fried fish dinner out of it!
