Hi, I am a collector of glass.
I came across a piece but I don't know much about cameo glass.
I have not found a signature anywhere, even by looking through an eye glass.
There is a candy cane swirl.
The closest I have got to a maker is Le Verre or Devez.
I have tried to upload some photos but for some reason I can't as it says the file is too large.
Any information would be greatly appreciated
    Many thanks
    John

Use a photo editing program to reduce the size of the photo.

The cane by itself is the early Schneider/Le Verre Francais mark. As to authenticity I can't comment.

    Thanks Chuck.
I didn't check the link after I posted.
Appreciate you fixing it for me.

Would like to see a better pic of the "candy cane" but, in general, I don't think this looks right. I would expect to see a shinier finish on the raised areas. So much new cameo glass has an overall acid washed finish.

I didn't open this thread at first since I was expecting to see something more like this ......... :yuck:
