    can somebody help me identify this painter?
    I found one English artist back in 19th century but can not find his signature.

    Ah, so a contemporary painter. Frame + burlap look 1970s. And what country did you find it in?

    Found in thrift shop in Cyprus, could be local artist but more probably it was brought from England as a lot of English come here for retirement.
    And framing, yes, look like '60s '70s
