help with spoons backstamps

    Evening all.
    Can anyone help me with these marks stamps on these two spoons i purchased at our Russian thrift store.
    I thought they might be silver, But what do i know.

    Not solid silver. If I recall correctly, the 3 initials starting with M are either the factory or the indication that the metal is their equivalent of "nickel silver." The numbers at the end of the line are the price in rubles and kopeks.

    Just realized that the 2 marks pictures are 2 different marks.

    The comments above are for the 2nd picture. I can't see much of anything in the first pic.

    @Bakersgma, not sure this helps much, I think it's poor quality marks, don't think it's just the photo....maybe I'm wrong......

    I didn't say that.....if the stamp/mark is terrible....even a GREAT PHOTO isn't going to make it any better.....don't beat yourself up!!!!!:D:D:D

    Well, whatever is there, it's not a Russian silver mark.

    That stamp looking at it with my loupe looks like farsi mark. A 3 with three dashes

    Melchior is the alloy.
    I think Soviet Era rather than Russian.
