I would have too. As for that bangle, don't let it get too close to me. I have a space in my hoard it would fit into nicely. Today I went to the local Goodwill, way too cold to go to the only relatively local estate sale, and spent.... one buck. Craft supplies. (sigh) Tomorrow I go to ...church.(LOL) I did however get the charms for this in the mail this week. My birthday is at the end of the month and my late Dad worked on the space program, so happy birthday to me! DSCF0705 (800x671).jpg

An X's Dad did work at NASA too. She & I were all sealed up in a special suit in the clean assembly room for the first Hubble telescope that was lost with the '86 shuttle crew. :(

That must have been cool. My father worked on the space suit for the Apollo missions. It made a big impression on me as a little kid and left me with an addiction to Space-related stuff. I have communication satellite prints, signed and numbered no less, on my bedroom wall. Geeky but true. Also pretty.

Lloyd, category in our forums, or category on eBay? In the forums, Books or Antique Discussions should work.

I've had this for a while, but don't think I've shown it previously. Image size a bit more than 15-1/2" by 12-1/2", watercolor and gouache, signed Gottfried Possl.

The wallpaper book didn't look old; the binding was all wrong for it to have any age, if nothing else. No clue if it's worth anything. That cool gouache on the other hand looks like it belongs in some MCM bedroom.

Most likely. I'd put a sheet of paper in between it and whatever you're mounting on it, something acid-free or at least Ph neutral. (typing paper) Wallpaper isn't necessarily acid free and might eat artwork. It's cheap insurance.

I want the space bracelet. I was never the teenager with posters of pop stars on my bedroom walls. I had the Earthrise taken by Apollo 8.

here are a few things I bought over the last little while. I love the mouse in the water colour, 22" gone fishing sign, 2 chromolithographs and a whole bunch of marbles - this is some of them, there are 2 large tins that I still have to go through.

I have this from back then along with the patch and some other things.
I was up on a mountain West of Vegas with a friend from NJ and where we could see the moon. It was in the daytime and a half moon I believe or real close to it. Had a little transistor radio and listened to the landing while looking at the moon. :)
