Thanks, Cxgirl! I wish I could see if either was Ruskin pottery, but not possible.

@kentworld on the back of your blue brooch I think I see some letters or maybe I'm just seeing things , looks like an A & C - just under the straight part of the pin before the bend, right hand side.

Thanks, Mary, I'll take a look with some magnifier as my eyes are not what they used to be. ;)

Made a special TS 'trip' today to my favorite store, which is a journey. I'm pushing myself to travel more and make day trips to areas I don't always/never hit...it seems to be working for me. My local stores had not one thing today, so I'm glad I planned for a drive. At my destination, hit two stores and left with two boxes of goodies - most is the bread and butter type stuff, but a few things I like below:

This Spode Blue Bird Chop Plate was $5.00 - Replac. is asking $95.00; may be a tough sell, but price it right and can wait it out...

Finding six of these vintage Warwick Restaurant Mugs in the same pattern was a good find. Someone will want them and the condition is surprisingly good.

Vintage copper cookware is always great - the last ones I sold were from NYC, this one is from France (Villedieu). Some of the sold prices are yowza - too bad I couldn't find more. This had a Made in China bowl inside, what a nice surprise underneath! $2.00.

This will be a tough sell, but I couldn't pass it up for $1.00. Etched with the named 'Aline,' this mini mug has turned a beautiful light purple. I have a vision of the young girl/lady purchasing this and having it her entire life.

Do I see coral and pear in that pendant, Johnny?

I went to a great "ladies" estate sale, tons of vintage linens, dolls, jewelry, glassware, clothing, lots of girly things. This estate sale crew never misses a trick, but they missed a few today with the jewelry.

I found this, coral, can anyone tell me anything about what type it may be? Thanks!

I know the pearl is real,Marko, and the bead on the bottom left tests gold. So the big one might be coral ? I NEVER even look at jewelry, but this was laying on the counter and intrigued me. Deep in the recesses of my rapidly fading mind it looks familiar, but theres no markings anywhere. I was hoping it might ring a bell for someone else. I keep thinking Mondrian,Calder, something of that era ?

Maybe the other bead is white gold or sterling? Coral is similar to pearls in that it will register a slight roughness against your tooth, but be careful, it is very soft. You can also look at coral under a loupe, it will not be smooth as glass. You may see ridges, striations, slight porousness. I think you have a great piece there!

I don't know the maker/style, I think of it in terms of an abstract/modernist piece.

I love this thread, too. Everyone has something different to show. I would walk by 90% of the valuable items you guys know about.

I did go back to the estate sale today. Surprise! They found another box of jewelry in the attic. If I had known that, I would have been first in line.

It was 20% off today, so this was $4. The lady in charge of the jewelry handed it to me and said "This is nice, it's gold-filled." When I saw the soldered bale and the soldered finding it attached to, I grabbed it. Pendant testing as 14k, stone testing as ruby (don't know if genuine or lab-created, but I like the color.) Chain maybe GF.

Of course the surface will test as 10 or 14 K

Can't see why it wouldn't be genuine tbh!

It's made of Pewter. So the only real value is in the engraving!
