Hi everyone. Hoping someone can tell me what these are for. They are marked "Harris & Shafer Co." Sterling 9224. The cup section measures 3" across with a 2 1/2" long handle. 1 1/4" high. Thanks for taking a look and any help at all.

They are a cup holder. Without the cups they are likely only worth melt price.

They're ramekin holders, regardless of manufacturer, most used standard Lenox liners...

Likely date to right around the 1910s-20s, Harris & Shafer was a Washington, DC jeweler - no maker's mark?

    Manufacturer should be F.M. Whiting.

Hi. There's a W inside a circle with 3 lines on each side(like cat whiskers?). Sorry, I can't take a photo right now. Thanks so much for the help.

Thanks again. It does look like their mark.

If all the sterling is melted then what is left will be scarce :arghh:
