This is a pitifully small bit of ephemera, but I keep waffling over just throwing it away. In the event that one of the list members is interested in Philadelphia department store/South Jersey memorabilia I am happy to send the box to him/her/you (I'll even split the shipping). The box is 12.25" long x 9.25" wide x 1" high and has some rippling on the lid, primarily on the sides. It also has a ca. 3.5" diagonal crease from the upper right corner toward the center, slightly bumped corners, but has no splits or tears. The lid highlights Philadelphia and South Jersey landmarks, such as the Betsy Ross house, the Benjamin Franklin bridge, the Old Glass Factory in Flemington, the Walt Whitman house in Camden, the Indian King Tavern in Haddonfield, the Cooper and Lawrence houses in Burlington, and more. Lit Brothers closed in 1977.
Thank you. Is there a way to send a private message with your address? I'll send it right to you--and I will pay the total shipping as I am happy to not have to throw it out.
