I hope this is the right forum to post in. I am trying to get an age range on this watch, ladies Bulova pendant watch, marked 18K (white gold), 17 jewels, swiss wind type, works. Haven't been able to find anything similar. Putting up for sale, trying to date and price. 72488074_550589602375656_3773258168310693888_n.jpg 72927780_560944788009227_6093365794706554880_n.jpg 72434768_1152168874981873_2463470477935378432_n.jpg 72709602_522732981877469_1276770936741167104_n.jpg 72683042_1254333744751198_1790827214393049088_n.jpg 72834716_397583661175757_1477194851169599488_n.jpg

    Hi,
I may know a thing or two on clocks but not watches. The only thing I know about watches is ladies watches do not sell very well. perhaps to scrap the gold is the way to go.

I'd say it is later 20th. C in an earlier style. Good quality movement but the gold value is about all you'd get unless someone wants it to use. Total gold weight is probably about twice the weight of the back.

Thank you. I will just run it as an auction, see what happens.

That is a very nice watch. I would date it to the 1920's. While it's true that most women's watches do not sell well I feel that this one would do very well as it has everything going for it. It may (?) have been a wrist watch originally and altered to a pendant watch. Note where the XII is. A turn would have made the dial readable. Also note that this watch has 3 Adj..This is important to a collector. I think I see a serial no. at the bottom of the picture of the works? If so it can be dated quite accurately. Good luck with your sale.
