Help w/ID Hammered Metal Cups Marked Denmark

hi everyone. i found these yesterday and have not been able to find this mark anywhere online. I'm really not sure what the metal composition of these cups is. they don't really look like silver, but they don't look like pewter either. they stand just under 3 inches in height. none of the cups have a very strong, easily read stamp on the base. i've provided the best pictures i can of the art. i think if you look at all three images of the marks you can get a pretty good sense of it. i would really like to figure out who made them and possibly when. any help will be greatly appreciated...thanks

it had occurred to me these might be 830 silver, because it doesn't look like sterling, but it still doesn't explain who made these. i'm still hoping someone out there knows something.

 

Hmmm - that first sentence is just odd, was it some sort of AI response? With those dark spots and pits, they look to me like pewter with some soldered repairs, but you have them in hand. They are not Danish .830 silver, if so there would be a numeric fineness and/or a 3-tower mark present.

For what it's worth, I played with one of your pics - looks me like three birds on a turret, branches, and maybe an 'LL' and cross below. Checked my pewter references and found no match, would guess mid 20th century...

hi, yes, it was an AI response. those pictures are very bad because they were taken with my phone camera and the lighting wasn't great. there really isn't any "pitting" visible when you look at any of them with magnification under good light. also they're not dark. they're the same color as the outsides as photographed.

 

Sorry, I'm confused by what you're saying, but your pictures show numerous spots of dark oxidation and small even darker spots that appear to be pits, both typical of pewter damage related to moisture - as said, you have them in hand, but I'm having a hard time understanding how they can be "the same color as the outsides as photographed". Will note that I've collected Scandinavian silver and pewter for close to half a century - to my eye, your pieces look to be pewter and they're not silver. Hopefully someone else will be along to try and help you find your answers...

I am confused. Are you saying those spots in the photo below, that look like pitting, aren't there in real life?

 

they're nowhere near as visible or noticeable when you look at the bases with your eyes in good light. obviously they're there, though. also, to my eye when looking at these cups they look more like silver than pewter, but who knows. possibly silver plate. what i would really like to find out is who made them. and apparently that's going to be impossible.

 

dont see the 3 towers but i see at least 2 birds. am i the only one who sees the birds?

3 birds , actually..

 

It looks alike a geraldine with 3 birds above a 3 petal cross or perhaps a 4 petal clover

 

it looks like there's 3 birds as well as 3 bases underneath them. then there's another element that sort of swoops out in front of them and probably behind them. when i bought these i thought i'd find this mark, no problem. it's a very ornate mark.

 

Its some kind of arm of coat/geraldine/shild. Top part is visible in the first pic and the bottom part on secod and thirt.pic you posted
