I’ve photographed the first few pieces. First is this necklace with matching earrings. No makers mark on them as far as I can see, however the screw backs on the earrings make me think they’re from around the 1920’s

Next are another necklace + earrings. Can’t see any makers marks on these either. Assuming they are slightly later than the last set as the earrings have a clip back. The stones in the earrings are also slightly brighter than the stones in the necklace so I’m not 100% sure whether these came together or not.

Screwback earrings continued to be made until the end of the 20th century, maybe still are. So unfortunately that is not an indication of the period.

Necklace and earrings #3 look inspired by Dutch button jewellery, but the concave backs are not traditionally Dutch.
They look plated, but check the clasp and clasp ring for silver marks just to be sure. Dutch assay marks are tiny, so you may have to feel as well as look.

The other sets are definitely costume jewellery, so I will leave those for the 'costume joolies' to assess.

Brooch with clip on earrings. Inscribed “miracle” on the back of each piece. If you zoom in on the back of the brooch you can see it.

Pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet. These are a set as they have matching clasps/backs. I’m assuming most of the pearls are imitation (glass) but the 7 larger pearls around the necklace appear to be real as they’re quite irregular. Also possibly the larger pearls at clasp ends of the bracelet as they are a different colour to the rest of the pearls. There is a mark on the back of the earrings that I think says “France”, you can see this in the last photo.

Thanks for looking, I’ll have another look markings later tonight.

As for the age of the earrings, I assume most of these pieces belonged to my Grandmother. My mother is 75 now so I imagine my Grandmother’s jewellery is quite old! There is a ring that was my Great Grandparents inscribed 1907, and another that was my great Aunt’s, I’m finding it quite difficult to identify the year using Hallmarks as some of the letters for different years are so similar but the latest it could be from is 1900, so I’m sure that much of the jewellery is antique.

The Miracle ones are British costume pieces. Birmingham company, glass made to look like semi precious stones.

The French ones are probably Louis Rousselet.

First two sets are very pretty fifties costume.

The first set looks more 1950s to my eye. It's important to remember when dating jewelry that it was designed to enhance the silhouette of the time. The 1920s silhouette was (generally speaking) narrow and low waisted so necklaces were elongated.

Thanks for looking Ownedbybear. It’s nice to know a bit more about them. Does costume jewellery of this age have any value?

Are the few large irregular pearls on the necklace likely real or glass if it’s Louis Rousselet?

Thank you Debora, I’m sure you’re right about their age, I don’t know anything about it to be honest, I only said I thought the 20’s based on the screw back earrings as that’s what I found on the internet, but I haven’t done much research at all and don’t really know anything for sure.

The pieces you're showing us are of very nice quality. There would be collector interest. If you haven't done so already, do a Google Lens search with each set. Always a first step when trying to identify. You may get lucky. Your photos are fab, by way. You could always open an eBay account and sell yourself.

Thank you, I did a google lens search with the scent bottle, that’s how I found the similar one, but I will try with the others. I do have an eBay account I sell with and that might be something I would consider, I’m in no rush to sell so wouldn’t mind waiting for them to sell on eBay. Only unfortunately my eBay account name is based on selling Nintendo (computer games) as that’s my interest so might look strange my suddenly selling jewellery. I still need some advice on what would be a fair price to ask for them.

You’re right yes I can say in the description that they’re from my Aunt’s estate. When I have a rough idea of values I will likely list them as auctions with a starting price about half their value.
