I found this click face that appears it was originally on a grandfather click(?) but it's had legs added si it can stand on its own.
I can't open case around the workings - can anyone tell me where it's from and/or how old ut is? (Bell at top has old slot screw heads showing)
Any information would be greatly appreciated!

    Tongre is in Belgium
Arets is probably the maker's name, but I haven't been able to find any info.

Clock looks like this one (comtoise clock by Laurent Massin, also from Belgium):

    Nice clock.
Yes, Tongres, with an 's', is the French name, as was customary at the time. The real name is Tongeren, one of several places named after the Germanic Tungri nation. Tongeren is a beautiful town with a long history and a renowned Gallo-Roman museum.

An aside about Tungri place names: I live in a place called Tongelre, formerly Tongerlo, meaning (sacred) forest of the Tungri.:)

There are also Tongres without an 's' (Tongre-Notre-Dame and Tongre-Saint-Martin), but those are small villages, so it is more likely that this would indeed be Tongres/Tongeren.
There is a clockmaker/restorer in Tongeren who might know more about this clock and the maker: https://www.ewardruyter.com/index.php?lang=en
