Hi, I joined as we inherited some of my grandmother's china and glassware (most circa 1910-20). She was from Wheeling, Wva. Many of the pieces are from the Ohio, PA, WV area. One piece that I can not find on Replacements or online Google match are 4 gold rimmed, octagonal tea cups, with blue roses (I think). The bottom says, "Johan Haviland Bavaria" and another stamp says "H.P.McGregor and Company W.Va. U.S.A" with the numbers 10460 32. My guess is it's an antique but no other info. I haven't found the saucers, and one cup has a hairline crack. But curious as to the pattern, and if any value. Thanks!
Rayo56 had a thread on this factory back in 2020. I dunno how to connect it to this thread. Hopefully, a more techie member can help.
The internet gives H.P. McGregor's dates as 1925 to 1942. I haven't confirmed that (and suspect that earlier date may be wrong.) Debora
I believe this book from 1915, made mention https://books.google.com/books?id=H...4Q6AF6BAgFEAM#v=onepage&q=hp mcgregor&f=false
