Featured chinese ebay jar thoughts

Hi folks

just bought this on ebay for £15. (about an hour ago, so haven't recieved yet )

think its either old old, late 19th century or modern repro of something old old

worth the gamble though as it looks promising

seller states 7 inches tall

still can't google image for some reason, just won't load

any thoughts or info appreciated

 

It is Canton ware, made for export, mainly to South and Southeast Asia.
Could be ca 1900, could be a bit later.

 

Carp looks similar here and the design on the back.

AJ-When Charlie lists this piece,could he correctly call it a 'Ginger and or Temple Jar' ?

the seller described it as a temple jar actually mate
