I know this is a long shot but can anyone make anything of this signature? Fairly contemporary and could just be a local artist but want to see if I am missing anything here before I sell it. Approx. 30" x 18". Picked up at a local thrift ($8.00).

Well that’s certainly different. Good thing there’s a signature at least we know which way is up :).. Somebody is going love it and I think it will definitely sell..

Surrealistic porcupine dancer? It's a little...odd, but cool.

Two primordial prawns, the top one is knitting. The other one is taking a nap after having played that blue zither-like instrument.
    Very cool, I like it.:)

Thank you all for the input. I am still not finding anything. Guess I will send it off for consignment and hope someone likes it.

The two primordial prawns is what I see. I kind of see the blue thing as a chair that the one is perched upon. Maybe holding a rose? The one in the foreground is in a bit of a dejected huff.... LOL! :woot:

OBVIOUSLY, it was painted by a woman, and represents her mean husband in the foreground, and her kind lover in the background.

No, it's obvious that Yin and Yang have been torn hopelessly asunder, separated by the red flag of Chinese communism, and have started to de-evolve back into their terrifying primordial entities, while the insignificant little red world hangs in the balance in the background.

I see a caterpillar and metamorphosis possibly representing the adolescent psyche. Or do I?
