I'd welcome thoughts on this unmarked long necked blue vase. 9 3/4" tall. It's lightweight, recessed unmarked bottom, and a nice looking shade of blue. No marks.

    TIA,

I just bought one the same shape last week, also unmarked and no clue if it's Chinese or Japanese. Same shape, same crackle. Different color, but I love yours.

Well, my first thought would be Chinese, but seeing that listing, Japanese Awaji seems likely! From the description: Japanese Awaji Pottery Stickneck Monochrome Vase Meji Period. Did not know the term "stickneck." Learned my something new today!

I posted this on the FB Awaji page and some said possibly Awaji while others said Chinese. So I then posted on the Chinese pottery page, where more than 1 person said it's 19th century Chinese porcelain.
