Some seller is offering me a French bronze vase in the style of the Grand Tour for just 100 euros. Is this a good deal?

Do you love it and want to own it? Or do you envision flipping it for a profit?

The one you posted is a genuine antique in my opinion, if that helps.

Square vs. round base. The one you're interested in appears to be missing its gilding. That likely impacts resale value.

Did we get this pair yet?

These all look like the same beast to me, not some original antiquity & the rest copies. If these were cameos that I kept finding, different only in finish & frame (in this case, socle) I would not hesitate to proclaim them mass produced. I would also begin to doubt whether or not they are really solid bronze or something faux.

I think they all are just sort of copies of an ancient vase so if the question is whether this one is worth it for resale, I guess it's the same question we always have. It depends on where you are and what way you have to sell it.

Here is the style in the krater type Sosibios Vase from 50 BCE or so says wikipedia.
