Bought some rocks and I can only ID the turquoise & amethyst (I think), and the one in the upper left corner just looks like a standard river rock. The rest I don't have a clue . Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks for your time.:):)

Seventh photo down is, I think, serpentine.

The 5th one down looks like some kind of moss agate.
Other than that, all I have is "greenie rock, gray rock, lumpy rock, purply rock, . . .".
    :)

Could be that all of them are in the Leverite lineage...... ;)

Nah, there's some value there....just not much.

Tye, I can't imagine what you're going to do with those other than display them on a shelf.

    & yes...the upper left rock....is a rock.....I have one just like like it .

Second pic seems to have some pyrite in it unless that is gold. 9th one looks to be granite with a bit of quartz in it. Last photo looks like some fossil fragment. Dinosaur bone?

I wonder if the 4th photo is flint or chert, and if the 6th photo might be malachite. The seventh picture could be flourite, it could also be marble. The 8th photo calcite (if it's clear and crystalline). All just guesses.

With that 8th photo, can you draw a line on piece of paper and see it through the material?

I agree with Fluorite though I have mistaken that for Amethyst.
The potential Malachite one has a googly face in it... Perhaps cut that out of it for a necklace, brooch or some such? :)

I agree pyrites, and the one after it looks like galena, a massive ore of lead.Next lookslike flint, then an agate.

Thank you Kingofthings, Messi, Silverthwait, Komokwa, Brad, Moreotherstuff & Af! You are all so helpful, it's overwhelming! Just too much info for my little brain to handle :joyful:.
Komokwa, I bought them in hopes of having something there worth re-selling. It's not looking good for that so far..sigh:D
Brad, I would have never thought of a dinosaur bone, that would be sort of neat!
Af, the 2nd & 3rd pictures are the same rock, I just took a photo of the top and bottom. There is some gold coloring in it.
Moreotherstuff, I can see the line on the paper (although it's hard to see in my awful pic), but only on the clear part of the rock. I took a pic and another pic of the back of that rock.
And Brad I took a couple more pics of that last rock.
    Thanks again everyone.

If photo 8 was calcite, the drawn line should appear doubled, which does not seem to be the case. So not calcite. Could be quartz. Could also be salt or alum. I would try tasting it, but you might not want to.
