I picked up this set of teacups and what I'm guessing are small bowls (?) at a thrift store today. I'm very interested in learning more about their origin and was wondering if anyone was able to provide any insights into the makers mark on the bottom. All of the cups and bowls are marked the same. I looked through a few sites with Chinese and Japanese porcelain marks but came up empty and am not really sure where to go from there. Any info would be greatly appreciated! I can provide more/better pictures if needed. Thanks!

They look pretty new to me - my guess would be in the last 40 years or so - maybe 40 weeks ago.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I'd agree that they don't seem that old, I apologise if this is the wrong place to post them. I've just got a wall trying to get any further information about them. The pattern looks oddly familiar but I can't place from where and have had no luck looking online.

don't worry bout it...we take all comers..but newer items can be harder to pin down, as the web has lots of old stuff...and lots of new stuff.....but the stuff in between......is not always there !
