Need help reading the artist signature

Hello,
Does anyone know who the artist is? It is signed but I can't figure out the name. It has a tag on the back from some gallery.

the staples on the back say it's a more recent painting...

why not see if the gallery is still active..?

 

My google search can't find the "Beverly Hills gallery", and there is some other business at that address, so I am assuming that they are not in business anymore.

The painting style looks Vietnamese to me. The subject could be too.

I read Yan S. Wai too. Oddly, there's no information at all about that gallery to be found on the internet. Ah, here's a Mexican factory painting with the same label. Gallery must have sold decorative art.

Thanks Debora. That was very helpful to at least find some info on the gallery and using your info I found a few other paintings on Ebay from that gallery.
The painting doesn't look amateurish, so I would have expected that there would be some info about the artist out there.

 

If yours is a decorative piece, there would be no "artist" per se.
