My eyes! It's too early in the morning for that color!

I do like the chair. MCM. Scandinavian? I'm not a furniture person, so I can't help, but I think it's pretty cool. One wonders if that is the original covering. It would fit with the era.

Hmmmm......crushed velvet was very popular around 1970 (I remember a coat quite well). I'm not great with dating furniture but this looks a little earlier in style to me, maybe 50s?

Anyway, someone else will be much better at it but I did want to ask if there are any tags or makers labels anywhere.

Looked at this last night but didn't have time to comment. I do think the fabric 70s or so. Whether this is all later or a re-do of an MCM piece, I can't tell. It looks vaguely familiar but I can not place it.

I've tried dating furniture...nice legs but always boring and a one sided conversation. Waste of wine & food and no options on movies at all, one way or another. No 'luck' there of any substance whatsoever. ;)

MCM equivalent of a slipper chair? It's definitely taste-specific.(LOL) It needs nailhead trim - or rhinestone stud trim. It would go with the velvet.

Velvet is definitely from the 70s! My mother & I 'did' a large sofa recovering in the same material only a deep forest green! We thought is rather posh at the time - LOL

It would have gone well with the green shag area rug we had at the time.

OMG!!!! Flashback!!! I bought, at the time you could buy '55-'56 & '57 Chevys for under $100 all day long. :( a green metalflake '56 4 door for $35! Pretty paint, ran great, chain type teeny steering wheel and..................long light green shag carpet!!! No I don't recall why I had it. I only drove it when I picked it up. I must've bought it for resale since I was, and am still, a '57 Chevy guy. :)

By the way, we also had a crawling, teething, urping, baby at the time.
You try getting urp & drool out of a shag rug ten times a day!
